Since being hired in 2018, Kingsbury has improved the Cardinals’ record every year. The team had only three wins before he arrived, improving to five in year one, eight in year two and finally 11 in year three. Arizona made the playoffs for the first time in five years in 2022, during that 11-win season. They were quickly ousted by their division rival Rams in the Wild Card round.
Keim has brought in talent such as J.J. Watt, DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green since he has arrived. He also was as integral as Kingsbury in drafting quarterback Kyler Murray. The team extended Keim and Kingsbury first, despite Murray essentially demanding he be paid early.
