The Packers traded running back Ty Montgomery to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2020 seventh-round pick according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.
The Ravens running game has been inefficient so far this season and Montgomery could be the back they are looking for to fill that void.
A 7th round pick in 2020 goes to the Packers. A clear sign they moved on. https://t.co/B2AgXhOGEQ

On Sunday, Montgomery ran the ball out of the end zone for a return but ending up fumbling the ball. The LA Rams recovered and Aaron Rodgers and the Packers were unable to get a shot at a game-winning drive. The Packers fell to the undefeated Rams 29-27.
Montgomery has 105 rushing yards, 170 receiving yards and one touchdown so far this season. He is also set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2018 season.
The Ravens currently sit third in the AFC North with a 4-4 record. They are ranked 19th overall in rushing so far this season. Their top rusher, Alex Collins has 358 yard and five touchdowns. With Lamar Jackson being their second best rusher, this could add some depth and diversity to their run game.
