McConnell is in his third season as an Indiana Pacer. Previously to 2019, he was a member of the 76ers for four years. He went undrafted out of Arizona in the 2015 NBA Draft, eventually being signed after playing for the Sixers Summer League team.
The point guard has played 26 games so far in the 2021 season, averaging 8.4 points, 4.8 assists and one steal per game. His six starts with Indiana have already set a high mark for his Pacers tenure.
