Collins, 23, has been in the NBA for four seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. He has averaged 5.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in his career. The Gonzaga product was only able to play in 11 games in the 2019-2020 season due to an ankle injury, then missed the entire 2020-2021 season.
The Spurs will hope to get Collins healthy and then develop the former lottery pick.
