Forward Sam Dekker is coming back to the NBA after playing in Russian and Turkish leagues in 2020 and 2021. He will reportedly sign with the Toronto Raptors for the next season.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
After two seasons overseas, F Sam Dekker is returning to the NBA on a deal with the Toronto Raptors, his agents Andy Shiffman and Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tell ESPN.

After being drafted by the Rockets in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft, Dekker spent two and a half seasons in Houston. He then bounced from the Clippers, to the Cavaliers, to the Wizards in the same calendar year. From 2019 to 2021 he played overseas.
His career high in points per game came in the 2016-2017 season, scoring 6.5. He attended college in his home state of Wisconsin, playing with the Badgers in the NCAA Championship Game, in which they lost to Duke. The details of his new NBA deal are unknown at time of writing.
