This article will go over the Predictions for the 2022 NBA Conference Finals. Sunday gave everyone a good shock as Dallas took care of Phoenix at home. Not only did they take care of them, but they absolutely obliterated them by 33 points. The other game, Bucks VS. Celtics, was another non-nailbiter. The Celtics took care of the Bucks by 28 and boy did Giannis give it his all. The absence of his all-star in Khris Middleton loomed large in this series. Nevertheless, Giannis and Jrue Holiday tried their best and it wasn’t enough. Now, the Celtics will battle it out with the one-seeded Miami Heat. in the West, the Mavericks and Golden State Warriors are going to battle it out. Here are the predictions for the 2022 NBA Conference Finals.
Golden State Beats Dallas Mavericks 4-1
No one pictured the Mavericks making it to the conference finals in this year’s playoffs. But alas, they made it and proved all doubters wrong. Luka Doncic is easily the best player on this squad, and he has proven to dismantle even the best of defenses (Phoenix). Along with him, Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie have proven to be major pieces in this rotation. However, this series is going to be long for this team as the Warriors are no joke when it comes to championship-caliber preparation. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Jordan Poole are going to pose large threats to this team, so Doncic is going to have to bring it to a whole other level. As long as his team shows up, it could be an amazing series. Unfortunately, this is the Warriors, so it’s going to be difficult. This is why the series may not stretch past five games.
Miami Heat Beat Boston Celtics 4-2
This series is going to be a flashback to the 80s. Defense is going to be incredible on both sides of the ball and the amount of grittiness and physical basketball will be insane. Erik Spoelstra is the superior coach in this series, but it doesn’t matter because of how Ime Udoka is doing right now. The Heat will have a healthy roster as the Celtics will possibly be missing Marcus Smart (foot). This may not bode well for the Celtics, but this team is built to fight in the face of adversity. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, Robert Williams, and Grant Williams are all going to be expected to shoulder the load for this team (which they’ve already been doing with the exception of Robert Williams as he’s been nursing a knee injury). Going over each roster, the Heat may have this series over in six games if everything goes well. It’s going to be a very fun series to watch and there’s going to be no shortage of intensity.
