The Phoenix Suns aren’t done yet, as they are reportedly making a trade for the Thunder’s Darius Bazley. After acquiring Kevin Durant in a three-team blockbuster, they are sending Dario Saric and a second round pick to the Thunder in return for Bazley in a trade.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.
Originally selected by the Jazz near the end of the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft, with the 23rd overall pick. He was then traded to the Grizzlies before being traded again to the Thunder. He has now been traded three different times just a few years into his NBA career.
In 36 games this year, Bazley averages 5.4 points, 0.9 assists and 3.4 total rebounds in 15.4 minutes per games. Last year, he averaged 10.8 points, 1.4 assists and 6.3 rebounds in 69 games. 2022-2023 has been his best season in terms of three-point shooting, with a percentage of 40.
