All eyes are on the Los Angeles Clippers this season. After an exciting offseason, the Clippers have the chance to become one of the best teams of the West (if not the best). The 2019-20 season is off to a good start, and the Clippers are one of many teams playing well to start the season. However, they are not in full effect. At the start of the season, the Clippers lacked one of their stars. Now, there is a chance fans will see that player in action. According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Clippers forward Paul George is nearing his season debut.
Two weeks into the season, George is ready to make his Clippers debut. Amick said that George is targeting Nov.13 or Nov.14 for his debut. In the meantime, he will participate in his first five-on-five practice this weekend. So, there is a good chance he’ll be in action.
As the story indicates, sources say Paul George's most likely Clippers debut will be in one of the upcoming back-to-back games next week (at Houston, New Orleans) https://t.co/AgDgGuC8I0

In the offseason, George underwent surgery on both of his shoulders. He underwent the procedures a few weeks before the free agency period, as teams (such as the Clippers) prepared for an active free agency. George remained with the Oklahoma City Thunder until the Clippers made a splash in free agency. The Clippers signed Kawhi Leonard and brought in a star to pair with him. They reached a deal with the Thunder and sent Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and numerous first-round picks to the Thunder for George.
The addition of George and Leonard instantly made the Clippers a favorite in the West. Leonard missed Wednesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to load management but will play in Thursday’s game against the Blazers. While Leonard sat out for the Bucks game, George’s return benefits the Clippers. It is only a matter of time before fans see them in action.
