Mills, 32, is a 12-year NBA veteran who played 10 seasons with the Spurs and two seasons with the Trail Blazers. He averaged 10.8 points and 2.4 assists per game last season with the Spurs.
With the Nets having a star-studded starting lineup, they will need Mills to help run the offense with the second unit. He should also be able to stretch the floor for the Nets after shooting 37.5 percent from deep last season.
