Jokic, 27, has made four all-star teams and been named league MVP two different times, including this past season. The seven-year NBA veteran has averaged 19.7 points, 6.2 assists and 10.4 rebounds per game in his career.
The Nuggets were able to get the no. 6 seed in the Western Conference last season and will hope to build on that. Jokic’s contract secures his services, while point guard Jamal Murray is expected to return to health for next season to help the team compete.
