Batum was born in France, playing professional basketball there from 2006-2008. He, then, garnered enough attention to be drafted into the NBA by the Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2008 draft. Batum played in Portland from 2008-2015, joining the Charlotte Hornets from 2015-2020. He has been a Clipper since the 2020 season.
Known as a defensive wing, primarily, Batum still managed to score 8.3 points per game last season. He also grabbed 4.3 rebounds and played 24.8 minutes per game. With Kawhi Leonard returning to the team and John Wall signing with the Clippers, Batum will go ring-hunting in Los Angeles next year.
