Forward Jae Crowder is being traded for the second time in just a few days, as the Milwaukee Bucks grab him from the Brooklyn Nets. Crowder was originally sent to the Nets in the three-team deal that brought Kyrie Irving to the Mavericks.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.
Crowder entered the league in 2012, after being a second round pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He never played a game for the Cavs, though, as a draft night trade sent him to the Dallas Mavericks. He would remain there for almost three seasons.
Joining the Phoenix Suns in 2020, Crowder was part of the team that represented the Western Conference in the next year’s NBA Finals. In September of 2022, Crowder and the Suns agreed he could sit out as the team tried to find a mutually beneficial trade. He will now join the team that beat him in the 2021 Finals.
