Jusuf Nurkic has re-signed with the Portland Trail Blazers. The new contract for Nurkic is a reported $70 million over four years. This will guarantee Nurkic makes $15 million for next year, with the contract growing more and more lucrative per year after that.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Friday.

From 2012-2014 Nurkic played professional basketball in Croatia, for two different teams. He was, then, drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft in 2014. Nurkic joined the Portland Trail Blazers in 2017, and has been a member of the team ever since.
In 2022, he averaged 15.0 points per game, which is almost exactly the same number as the last time he was healthy for a full season. Nurkic also had a career high in rebounds last year, with 11.1 per game. With his injuries hopefully behind him, he sews up a lucrative long-term deal.
