Veteran shooting guard Danny Green will re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers. After spending the 2021 season with Philly, Green has signed a two-year, $20 million contract to return to the Sixers.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news on Thursday morning.
No options on the two-year, $20M deal that will keep Danny Green with the 76ers, his agent Raymond Brothers of @RocNationSports tells ESPN.

Green was traded twice after winning the 2020 NBA Finals with the Lakers. First, to the Thunder, for whom he never played a game, then to the 76ers. He scored 9.3 points per game and shot over 40 percent from three-point range, as he was mostly relied on for his brand of defense on other guards.
His 2020 championship is far from Green’s first brush with winning. Not only has he won two other NBA Finals on two other teams (Spurs- 2014, Raptors- 2019), but he also won an NCAA Championship with UNC in 2009. Now, he will attempt to win another wing with the Sixers and coach Doc Rivers.
