Edwards was the first overall selection of the 2020 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Edwards spent just one year as a Georgia Bulldog before being drafted. He scored 19.1 points per game during his time in Georgia.
He has scored 22.1 points per game in his sophomore season over 28 games. He has also improved in almost every shooting statistic during his second campaign. Edwards also contributes with 5.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
The amount of time Edwards misses will be contingent on his vaccination status and ability to test negative and become asymptomatic.
