8. Braves: Julio Teheran (1-5, 2.77 ERA, 62 SO, 1.07 WHIP)
Julio Teheran’s abysmal record is just a testament to how even the best of pitchers are unable to thrive without adequate run support (*cough cough* Felix Hernandez *cough cough*). The Braves are averaging just 2.5 runs of support per nine innings when Teheran takes the hill. The worst part of it is that Teheran has almost kept opponents below that average in a lot of his starts, but he still isn’t getting any help in the wins column.
Teheran is definitely the most mature in the Braves current young rotation. Teheran had a stellar May after a not-so-stellar April. He allowed just six earned runs in his six starts last month, en route to a 1.38 ERA. Those numbers are up there with Clayton Kershaw and Madison Bumgarner on the month (Bumgarner got four wins, Kershaw got five. Teheran? One, with a couple of losses). I (as well as many Braves fans) imagine that the Braves organization will want to hold on to Teheran, who has obviously demonstrated his value to the organization so far in 2016; however, with Jason Grilli being traded to Toronto on Tuesday, Teheran now becomes the Braves most valuable trade asset, and if he continues to pitch the way he has, he may fetch some high offers.

Daniel Murphy totally deserves this No. 1 slot. What a wrecking ball! RBIs all over. If only Harper was batting well…
