On Friday March 17, the Marvel Snap Twitter account surprised followers with a brand new development roadmap. The Marvel Snap development roadmap covers a wide range of topics after hearing extensive feedback from players. Of course players have a heavy focus on card acquisition, but the competitive players are still curious about what’s next after reaching the coveted Infinite Rank. In this new development roadmap, the Marvel Snap team acknowledges these main two concerns and much more.
Features Coming Soon
Conquest Mode: The roadmap kicks off with a new competitive mode called Conquest. This new game mode is similar to Battle Mode, however you will queue up against random opponents with Battle Mode rules and play in a ranked-style environment. If players win a series of battles without a loss, they unlock tickets to higher leagues. Three wins in a row will win you a league series. Players start in the Proving Grounds league and slowly climb the Conquest ladder to reach the other tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Vibranium and Infinite. Each season will also bring a “Conquest Shop”. Players can spend tickets earned through Conquest matches to purchase unique items in this shop. Conquest is set to enter Marvel Snap in June.
Card Acquisition Improvements: Players will now gain more tokens from Collection Level Caches if they do not have every card from Series 4 and 5. Starting at level 500, players can earn 200-600 tokens from a cache. Once a series is completed, caches that would have contained a card will now be 100 tokens. There will also be a new section in the shop where players can claim a free Series 3 card. These changes will occur in the very next patch in March.

Token Shop Revamp: Whenever a new card is released, players have a week to buy that card in the shop under the new “Weekly Spotlight” section. Once purchased, the section will not update until a new card is added. a new Series 4 and Series 5 section of the shop will appear and offer only Series 4/5 cards. Ultimate Variants also gain a new section in the shop.
Ranked Mode: A few key changes will soon be made to the game as well. Infinite players will only play against Infinite players. Additionally, once a player hits Infinite, their MMR cannot be reduced by losing games. For those under Infinite, a new change is on the way to ensure no one plays against an opponent at least 30 ranks away from them.
Infinite Rank: There is now a Infinite Rank leaderboard to highlight the top players in Marvel Snap.
