Veigar Added to Legends of Runeterra: Beyond the Bandlewood

Beyond the Bandlewood continues to bring out some great champions. Veigar will be the next champion added to Legends of Runeterra and unsurprisingly will be a Yordle. He is now the fourth of what should be nine new champions getting added to Legends of Runeterra. Here is a look at Veigar in Legends of Runeterra: Beyond the Bandlewood.

As per usual, a champion is not revealed by themselves. Generally, they either have a new keyword or come with a known one but a new mechanic in it. Earlier Caitlyn added to the trap game while Teemo was revealed as the first multi-region card and Poppy was also added with Impact being her new ability. Veigar adds “Darkness and players can see that below.

It will be interesting to see if Darkness stays with just Veigar or if it will be used with other champions in the future. Currently, it would seem as though that will just be for Veigar and it is similar to the way his Q in League of Legends stacks up over time.

Now fans will continue to turn their attention to the next reveals. Ziggs, Sion and a few more were hinted at during the trailer for Beyond the Bandlewood. Whether or not they make their entrance here will be interesting. Especially if Senna is actually becoming more than just a Lucian follow card. Will she stay with him as well or will that card no longer be in the game? Once Yone is added, the same question will follow for him.
