Rise of the Underworlds Announced as Next LoR Expansion

The next Legends of Runeterra expansion will not feature one specific location as it mostly has for the past year or so. Instead, it will focus on some champions from the “Underworlds”. The champions shown in the trailer below will come with Rise of the Underworlds to LoR. Fans will get their first looks at Ekko, Pyke and Rek’Sai. Here is the latest on the Legends of Runeterra Expansion.

Legends of Runeterra is not just a great card game but it is also fantastic at expanding the lore of League of Legends. Just checkout the trailer below to see that even though these champions aren’t normally connected Legends of Runeterra still finds a way. These shipments and these dealers help to connect even the most random of champions.

There will be another new keyword joining Legends of Runeterra with this expansion. Lurk will add some pretty unexpected consequences to attacking. It will make some players think twice, especially in the early game as just one extra attack stat can make the difference. While not released yet, it will be interesting to see how the three champions mix with this as well.

As one can see, there is new art for Ekko and Pyke specifically. Also that the LoR Rise of the Underworlds expansion will be hitting the live servers on June 30. This is supposedly coming with a major patch for a lot of cards as well.
