After going from the desk to the development team and back to the caster desk, Jatt will be moving into a brand new role as the Head Coach of Team Liquid. The team announced that the longtime caster and former player would be heading up their LCS team in a five-minute video explaining how this all came together. This will be the first time that Jatt has coached at the LCS level.

After the Doublelift drama came to ahead, many on the team felt that the coaching staff needed a change as well as the roster. Team Liquid announced that Cain would be going to an assistant coaching role while the team would be looking for a new Head Coach. Then throughout the next week, Steve Arhancet continuously teased that a new coaching announcement would be coming soon. Many wondered if it might even be the team owner himself. Instead, they bring in one of the brightest and most respected minds in the scene.
Jatt is not the first person to come from the casting desk and go into coaching. In recent months the LCS especially has invested heavily into former casters as coaches or other major roles in their organization. PapaSmithy is the GM of 100Thieves and Raz is the head coach of Golden Guardians Academy. It is interesting to watch as these major casters make their way into new roles and it will be worth watching to see if the trend continues.
