The Documentary
The documentary starts off with placing emphasis on the team’s experiences due to the pandemic. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic led to disruptions in 2020 season, the biggest being the cancelation of the 2020 Mid-Season Invitational tournament.
Next up was the footage of the team exploring in China after the end of their quarantine period. There is also a part showing the team celebrating Luka “Perkz” Perković’s birthday in the days before the start of the Worlds tournament.
The largest part of the documentary is on the team’s preparation and reactions before, during and after the games. Behind the scenes, footage and commentary are supplemented with in-game voice comms and game footage. Games against Suning, Gen.G and Damwon Gaming get most of the attention as they were the toughest and most important games. The unexpected loss against Team Liquid is also highlighted as a disappointment.
Consistent with most other League of Legends related G2 content, the documentary is packed with lots of banter and laughter. However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows as the team is also shown in tough moments after losses. Their reaction after the loss and resulting elimination against the eventual winners Damwon Gaming is especially upsetting.
The documentary finishes with a highlight package of the team from the past two seasons, mainly focussing on Perkz.
Perkz is the first departing member of the five men squad which has become iconic with their world-class performances since 2018.

The Aftershow
The aftershow segment featured the same guests, plus G2 CEO Carlos “Ocelote” Rodíguez.
The discussions on this part of the show were more expansive as the guests took turns answering Sjokz’s questions on a wide range of topics. Quality of the documentary, G2 without Perkz, Perkz’ possible effect on NA region and the team’s expectations in the upcoming 2021 season were among the discussed topics.
The VOD of the premiere show is currently available on the team’s Twitch channel. Stand-alone version of the documentary has been uploaded to YouTube.
