What are the Borderlands 4 Pre Order Bonuses?

The Borderlands series always bring the surprises. Whether it is in the first few games or the movie, fans of the series always get something new and potentially unexpected. Borderlands 4 promises to do just that and more. Here is a look at the Borderlands 4 Pre Order Bonuses.

All Borderlands 4 Pre Order Bonuses

All of the Borderlands 4 Pre Order Bonuses are not yet known.

This is because we will not get anything until we are much closer to the release date. Normally at least a few months ahead of time. If it is anything like the third game though we will get gun skins at least as a pre order bonus. There were also different editions where you could get other types of skins and bonus content.

Borderlands 4 Release Date

As of right now we do not know what the Borderlands 4 Release Date will end up being.

This was announced at The Game Awards in 2024 which is near the end of the year. The hope would be that we would get it in 2025, likely near the Holiday Season. The trailer said 2025 but with all of the games getting pushed back these days there is a world where it could end up in 2026.

The last Borderlands game was obviously 3 and that came out in 2019. There are the spin-offs as well which we got in 2022. But even still, it will have been six years since the last mainline game has been released which is quite awhile considering how quickly the first 3 came out.

Borderlands 4 on Xbox Game Pass

As of right now it does not look like Borderlands 4 will be on Xbox Game Pass.

This does not mean that it will not once it is released but with Borderlands 1-3 and even Tiny Tina’s Wonderland not on it, Borderlands 4 being released on it feels unlikely. That being said, this would be the opportunity for Xbox Game pass to get all of the games and potential future ones on it. If the developers were interested it would bring them to a lot more people and could be good marketing for the release of Borderlands 4.

Borderlands 4 Gameplay

There will be some changes as with all games but most likely, Borderlands 4 will have gameplay similar to 1-3.

The big changes will potentially be the protagonists, their abilities and most of the story. We say most because you never know what easter eggs they put in there of if they will pull from the previous games to make even more of a connection. Either way, you will be running around with too many guns to count, raiding and fighting whoever the villains end up being.
