One for All is back! While in traditional games, only one person can choose a champion, One for All is quite the opposite: everyone on the team plays the same champion.
Obviously, this twist heightens the strengths and weaknesses of each champ, and some are much stronger than others within this game mode. But, this also creates opportunities for mass chaos and unique plays that would be impossible at any other time.
Read on to find some of the most interesting One for All champion choices. Some have great win rates, others excel just because a five-stack of their abilities is hilarious. Either way, players are sure to enjoy a match on any of the following champions.

Fun Enough to Justify a Loss: Zilean
What’s the only thing better than perma-stunning enemies the entire game? Chain resurrecting the best teammate during the seconds in between. And on top of that, imagine the ally team has near-constant speed boosts, enemy slows, and the damage of up to ten ticking time bombs.
Zilean may not be the objectively best One for All choice. With a win percentage around 42%, he might actually be one of the worst. But nothing beats the feeling of the infinite chain CC, team resurrections, and full speed that players gain with a five-Zilean team.
The Solid All-Around Choice: Ashe
Send cross-map arrows, gain vision of the map at all times (with 10 Hawkshots!), or simply spam Q and W until the enemy forgets what it was like to move at a normal speed. Whichever route the team chooses, Ashe is sure to make for a great One for All game.
Not only that, but she is an amazing choice for win rate, too. With multiple sites ranking her as A-tier (or even S) in One For All, Ashe is sure to lead the team to victory.
Ashe is simply a fun champion to play, and luckily she is a strong one, too. Ashe is the perfect One for All pick for players to easily stomp their opponents, and have a great time doing it.
The Unexpected One For All Choice: Urgot
Urgot is not only a great option statistically (top 10 according to LoLAlytics!), but he can also bring a lot of versatility to One for All.
Throw an Urgot in the Jungle. Have one build extra tanky, and another go classic Juggernaut. And yes, daring summoners can even build AP Urgot. There’s no way to go wrong with five executes and a dream.
The other fun part of Urgot is the element of surprise. With a pick rate of 0.44%, the enemy team will never expect to face him. Players can use this to their advantage and secure victory.
Urgot is both a strong and surprising choice, and creates a solid five-man team.
The Popular Choice Worth the Hype: Blitzcrank
Q-E-Q-E-Q-E-Q-E. Enemies ragdolling across the lane with no end in sight. Everyone’s passive striking at random in mass chaos. Roving Blitzcranks roaming through the map with ease. Nothing more needs to be said. This pick is just as annoying and just as fun as players expect. It’s always worth a try.
However, players may have to wait a few matches before attempting Blitzcrank. Much like in traditional Summoner’s Rift games, Blitzcrank has one of the highest ban rates of any champion. Currently, he is the third-most banned out of any champion. The wait is worth it, though, and Blitzcrank is a one-way-ticket to the chaotic match of every player’s dreams.
Final Thoughts
The One for All game mode is a great time, particularly when playing Zilean, Ashe, Urgot, or Blitzcrank. While these champions can all create wildly different game experiences, and often excel for different reasons, they are united in creating fun and interesting games.
Players should take the chance to try these champions out before One for All leaves in mid-April.
