While it might be winter for many, it looks like there are still some champions that are venturing through the Elderwood. Gnar and Rek’Sai are the latest champions to receive new Elderwood skins. The two bruisers join several other champions in receiving the forest-themed cosmetic. The latest skins are heading to PBE where players can get an early look at the new additions to the Elderwood skin line.

Elderwood Gnar
With a closer look, it appears as though Mega-Gnar is lurking in the background of the Gnar splash art. Astute eyes can make out a small bright spot just to the right of Gnar’s claw. It looks like Mega-Gnar will appear as a hulking, wooded, monstrosity in the top lane. Players interested in what Mega-Gnar will throw at his opponents will need to head to the PBE to check it out.
Elderwood Rek’Sai
The queen of the sands heads to the forest in the latest skin. Rek’Sai keeps her iconic purple shade in the form of several different leaves protruding from her arms. Or gauntlets, depending on how people want to look at it. Interestingly enough, this is Rek’Sai’s first new skin in over a year. Rek’Sai last had a new skin back in March of 2020 with the Blackfrost Skin. Rek’Sai mains can rejoice knowing that their favorite champion is finally getting some attention.
The release date for the new Elderwood skins is not yet revealed. With the skins hitting PBE soon, the release should be close behind.
