LCS super week has arrived, meaning teams play three days’ worth of games instead of two. It also marks the halfway point of the Spring Split, giving fans a better idea of the playoff picture. Through three weeks, outside of Team Liquid and 100 thieves, every other team has fallen short or exceeded expectations, making it hard to predict upcoming matchups. Here are three predictions for LCS super week.
Evil Geniuses Will Get Back On Track
To start the Lock In tournament Evil Geniuses emerged as the team to beat, starting 9-0 before being swept by Team Liquid in the finals. Since then, they have gone 2-4 with losses against Cloud 9, 100 Thieves, Team Liquid, and Immortals, with their only wins coming against 1-5 TSM and 3-3 Dignitas. Currently, in eighth place, EG has one of the easier schedules this weekend.
They start off super week against a red hot FlyQuest before facing 3-3 Golden Guardians and 1-5 CLG. It doesn’t help that EG had one of the toughest schedules to start the split, with three of their four losses coming against teams that represented North America in Worlds last year. Yet, EG have too much talent to not be able to right the ship, with ADC Danny in particular, playing at a high level.
Despite EG’s struggles in the early game, Danny has been able to consistently get an early lead in lane. At the 10 minute mark, Danny is first amongst ADC’s in CS difference, second in XP difference and third in average gold difference. Against some of the weaker teams in the LCS, Danny will carry his team and move them into the thick of the playoff race.
Toucouille Will Emerge As MVP Favorite
Entering the season, FlyQuest was picked by man to finish at the bottom of the LCS and it’s safe to say they have been the biggest surprise of the split. After a shaky Lock In performance, FlyQuest jumped out to a 5-1 record, with wins over CLG, GG, TSM, Dignitas, and 100T. Their only loss came against TL, but they were able to make it a close game till the end.
FlyQuest’s early-season success stems from support Aphramoo’s shot calling and the impressive play of mid-laner Toucouille. The 20-year-old French star has exceeded any expectations since joining the LCS. In their most recent game against 100T, Toucouille who was on Veigar was able to limit Abbedagge who was on the hyper-carry Corki.
In the last team fight of the game, 100T caught out FlyQuest and pushed in for the team wipe. Toucouille was able to neutralize Abbedagge, Huhi, and FBI from the fight, thanks to some well-timed abilities, allowing his teammates to clean up.

Through six games, Toucouille is first amongst mid laners in kills (29), assists (38), and DPM (626), is second in KDA (9.6) and third in kill participation (68.4%). His hot performance has put him on analyst radars for MVP, alongside 100T’s Closer and TL’s Bwipo.
This weekend FlyQuest faces EG, Immortals, and C9, with each team having a strong mid laner. Toucouille has raised his game when the moment is the biggest and he will thrive against his toughest stretch of competition yet.
CLG Will Finish The Weekend In Last Place
After a disastrous 2021 season, CLG entered the year with a new-look roster that was full of promise. After making it out of group stages during Lock In and just barely losing to Cloud9 2-1, they were seen as a potential playoff team.
Unfortunately, CLG finds themselves at the bottom of the standings, tied with TSM at 1-5. This past week, they finally got their first win, knocking off C9 who was reeling the LS situation. He was fired shortly before the game. They then followed that up by losing to TL in a competitive game.
CLG and TSM finally play each other this weekend, with the winner moving out of last place. In addition to TSM, CLG will also face Immortals and Dignitas. TSM on the other hand will play 100T and TL. It is unlikely either team eeks out a second win this weekend, adding intrigue to their matchup.
However, TSM has too much talent for rebuilding CLG, with ADC Tactical in particular finally getting hot. Expect CLG to be alone in tenth place.
