NFL Draft Prospects in the 2024 68 Ventures Bowl

Publish Date: December 19, 2024

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2024 68 Ventures Bowl.

Arkansas State Red Wolves Draft Prospects

Corey Rucker, WR

Rucker started his career at Arkansas State where he played two seasons. He then transferred to South Carolina for the 2023 season, only to transfer back to Arkansas State in 2023. Rucker has been productive during his time with the Red Wolves. In 2024, he caught 65 passes for 946 yards and five touchdowns.

At 6-foot and 203 pounds, Rucker has decent size for the position. He has plenty of production during his college career. Rucker wasn’t productive before getting injured at South Carolina, which may raise some concerns. He’ll likely have to play special teams to help his chances of making a roster.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Marvin Ham, LB

Ham joined Colorado in 2019. He didn’t play much his first couple of seasons, but then played a little bit over the next three seasons. Ham transferred to Arkansas State for the 2024 season. With the Red Wolves, he registered 90 total tackles and 10 tackles for loss.

At 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, Ham is a little undersized for a linebacker hoping to make the NFL. He will have to add to his frame to hold up as an every down linebacker at the next level. Playing special teams will be key to his chances of making a roster.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Bowling Green Falcons Draft Prospects

Harold Fannin Jr., TE

Fannin Jr. joined Bowling Green in 2022. He steadily has improved in every season he has played for the Falcons and is now a star. In 2024 he had one of the best seasons for a tight end ever with 100 catches for 1,342 yards and nine touchdowns. He won the MAC Player of the Year Award this season.

At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, Fannin is a little undersized for an NFL tight end. He will likely be used off the line of scrimmage because of his size, but he can add more weight to his frame. His athletic ability makes him a matchup nightmare, as he even produced against power conference team.

Jordan Oladokun, CB

Oladokun started his college career at Samford in 2021. He transferred to Bowling Green for the 2022 season. He has developed since that point, making the All-MAC Second Team in 2023 and the All-MAC First Team in 2024. This season, he has four interceptions and seven passes defended.

He stands at 6-foot and 190 pound, which makes him on the lighter side for a corner. Oladokun can add strength to his frame to match up with bigger receivers at the NFL level. He has shown good ball skills, but will likely need to be a special teams ace to make a roster.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Other Draft Prospects: QB Connor Bazelak (UFA)
