The LCS 2022 season started with EG surprising everyone and rising to the top much earlier than anticipated. Now, everyone is playing catchup. Some teams made moves while others stayed put. Week 2 saw most teams go 1-1 while only one team made a hard charge up the standings. Here are the LCS 2022 Summer Split Week 3 Power Rankings.

10. TSM (2-5)
(Last Week: 5)
What was that? How does TSM go from being a contender to getting stomped by Evil Geniuses and embarrassed by Dignitas? The talent on this team is much better than this but apparently, it is not all coming together as planned. There is no team in the West that could use this break to figure things out more than TSM. They come right back in Week 4 against two tough opponents in C9 and FlyQuest. TSM will need to take at least one of those games if they want to stay in the hunt for the double-elimination portion of the playoffs.
Update: Since writing this, TSM have completely changed their lineup. Because of this they have gone from 9 to 10 in the rankings.
9. IMT (1-6)
(Last Week: 10)
Another just absolutely uninspiring weekend from Immortals. They are just in their own tier of bad right now. Having four kills across two games just is not getting it done. The problem is that there is no clear way to resolve these issues. It is hard not to feel bad for Kenvi in his first Split. Hopefully, he can learn from this and try to find ways to better himself.
8. DIG (2-5)
(Last Week: 9)
This team really does not look all that good overall. Gamsu has been a liability while Neo struggled. Luckily for them, Blue played well and along with team MVP River, he was able to help DIG net their second win. This team still has a long way to go. That said, if they can win just a few more games, that should help them sneak into the playoffs.
7. GGS (3-4)
(Last Week: 8)
Ablazeolive showed up to help this team get a win and a moral victory against Evil Geniuses. The Guardians are a fun team to watch right now and one that could continue to surprise teams. With solo laners like Licorice and Ablazeolive playing well this team really does have a chance in every game.
6. CLG (4-3)
(Last Week: 2)
It was sadly a “back to Earth” weekend for CLG and their fans. They had the opportunity to show that their 4-1 start and win over EG were who they really were. Instead, it turned into an 0-2 weekend losing decisively to both Cloud9 and Team Liquid. CLG are still a solid team but they are more of a middle-of-the-pack team than top tier.
5. FLY (4-3)
(Last Week: 7)
Week 3 was just what the doctor ordered for FlyQuest. They made quick work of Dignitas and then stomped on Cloud9. Toucouille is a dark horse MVP candidate, Johnsun is looking like an All-Pro, Josedeodo is really playing well and Philip had a breakout weekend. If FlyQuest continue to play as a unit and focus on hitting their mid-games well then they could be a true threat to every team above them.
4. TL (5-2)
(Last Week: 3)
After the game they played against 100 Thieves it is hard to even put Team Liquid this high. Add that up with their loss to TSM, which is looking worse with each passing game, and TL are yet again underperforming. The crazy part is? They are still 5-2. This team has the talent but they have to find a way to take more chances and trust that their skill and collective knowledge will be enough to help them recover.
3. C9 (3-4)
(Last Week: 4)
There is still something there for this team. Even with the loss to FlyQuest, Cloud9 are still 3-1 with their full roster. This team is dangerous and giving them a free week of practice during the break should only help them. The LCS better be prepared for what the second half could look like with this Cloud9 team firing on all cylinders.
2. 100T (5-2)
(Last Week: 6)
Similar to Team Liquid it is hard to put 100 Thieves this high on the LCS Power Rankings after that dreadfully boring thing they called a game. Luckily they had a chance to go 2-0 and took advantage of it. Beating Immortals is nothing to impressive but doing so to finish Week 3 at 5-2 certainly is.
1. EG (6-1)
(Last Week: 1)
What more is there to say about this team? Inspired should be the clear frontrunner for MVP and even when teams throw unexpected drafts at them like Golden Guardians did, they still win. A break will be great for Evil Geniuses as they haven’t had much time off after MSI. The best team in the LCS should only get better with some rest.
