10. Immortals (Last Week: 9)
There is now a world where Immortals finish last thanks to another bad week and Dignitas pulling out a second week in a row with a win. This initially felt impossible but it looks like it is on IMT to figure it out this week. They are playing stiff competition and are already eliminated from Playoffs. The goal at this point is to see who will be sticking around for the Summer.
9. Dignitas (Last Week: 10)
Another win and Dignitas are looking a bit better. They are still a pretty bad team overall but the addition of Tomo has certainly changed the way this team plays. Similar to IMT it is all about figuring out who is sticking around for the Summer.
8. Team Liquid (Last Week: 8)
It is very much an outside chance but Team Liquid are still in the playoff hunt. That being said they will need a 3-0 weekend and some help to guarantee it without tiebreakers. There certainly is a path with games against DIG, CLG and EG but it is going to be extremely tough. What comes after any loss will be who gets the boot as this team should be performing so much better than this.
7. TSM (Last Week: 6)
It was a 1-1 week for TSM and getting the win over IMT was crucial for their playoff chances. Two wins would basically guarantee them a spot but even one as long as its over 100 Thieves gives TSM at least a fighting chance. It will be interesting to see how they play and learn from the last two weeks of mistakes to try and push their win straight to playoffs.
6. CLG (Last Week: 5)
Of all the teams vying for a playoff spot, CLG have one of the toughest roads. Games against GG, 100T and C9 will all be tough as each team has something to fight for. If they can repeat what they did after their last 0-2 weekend though, the faithful shall be rewarded.
5. 100 Thieves (Last Week: 7)
They needed two wins last weekend and got them. 100 Thieves are on the verge of forcing their way back into playoffs after many thought they were done. But that is just what Bjergsen and Doublelift do, isn’t it? They are never going to give in or give up and with that they may just simply will this team to a playoff spot. Should they make it, no one will want to face them as best of series should be where this team shines.
4. Golden Guardians (Last Week: 4)
Golden Guardians have certainly come back to Earth but even this version of them is still very good. They need to make sure that River can engage and Gori has a carry champ and then they are good to go. This team is fun to watch and many are hoping they will make it to playoffs. Just one win should solidify their position. They have two tough games and Dignitas will look to play spoiler. Buckle up GG fans, its going to be another interesting week.
3. Evil Geniuses (Last Week: 2)
Even with Jojo out sick and the team playing from home, EG found a way to go 1-1 this past week. Assuming that their star mid laner is back and even at 75% strength, this team should be looking just to finalize their position around third for playoffs. Unfortunately, it seems as though first is out of reach.
2. FlyQuest (Last Week: 1)
For the first time since the second week of the season FlyQuest are not first in these Power Rankings. They are still a great team but seem to be faltering. They are getting caught and positioning poorly. In order to get back to the top and hold the spot, they will need to play smarter. Luckily, they have the opportunity to start the week and take back their spot with a game against Cloud9. Seemingly, the winner of the first game of the week will likely be first place heading into playoffs.
1. Cloud9 (Last Week: 3)
It almost feels like everyone kinda just expects this result out of this team. Yet, they made a massive decision to bench Diplex and put in EMENES instead. It is paying off in a major way as C9, like FLY, have the opportunity to finish first in the regular season. This team is extremely dangerous and feels like they still have some leveling up to do.
