On May 20th (KST), KT Rolster announced that Kim “PraY” Jong-in has joined the organization. It wasn’t too long ago last month that the legendary ADC announced his retirement from the pro scene after expressing a lack of confidence in his play after the 2018 season, via his personal stream on Afreeca TV.
During his initial retirement announcement last month, he said it wasn’t that he wasn’t getting offers but rather it was on his own accord when it came to the decision of retirement. “The offers [that I’ve been getting from the teams] have been too good, but I turned them all down. Maybe I had already closed my heart, for some time by now.”
He now joins a KT Rolster team that went through the LCK promotion tournament last split and are looking to have a much better split for the summer. The addition of PraY to the roster gives KT fans hope that they will compete with the top tier LCK teams once more. He will also reunite with his former KZ teammate Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong and join Song “Smeb” Kyung-ho, Go “Score” Dong-bin and No “SnowFlower” Hoi-jong on the roster.
