League of Legends has been releasing its first set of skins completely locked behind the new Mythic Essence currency. These Ashen Knight skins had fans initially very excited but have recently brought some questions forward, especially once the Pantheon skin was revealed. Regardless, the newest one may have been leaked. Here is a look at the Ashen Graveknight Mordekaiser.

So far there have been three Ashen skins, each one coming out around the middle month of a quarter. This means that this Mordekaiser skin may be the last Ashen Knight skin, surely for 2022 at the least. The other champions to get these skins so far are Pyke, Pantheon and most recently Sylas.
Originally BigBadBear revealed the name on Twitter.
Then the splash art was revealed by SkinSpotlights on Twitter.
While this skin is not yet confirmed by League of Legends, both sources of the leaks so far are generally very reputable in what they put out. This has been seen especially with SkinSpotlights as they normally get everything in datamines on the day of the PBE.
It will be interesting to see how the League of Legends devs decide to move forward. These skins certainly have their fans but will the skins team continue them or start new ones? If so, do these skins eventually get out from behind the Mythic Essence currency?
Either way, Mordekaiser fans will likely be happy to see him getting so much love over the past few years. Certainly, the chances for even more skins in the future may go down but having one this exclusive may make that worth it.
