Following in the footsteps of many other games, Halo Infinite is bringing out more seasons. They are giving them interesting names and potentially bringing Halo fans hope. The game launched with a lot of excitement from fans who had been waiting for years for the next installment. After the initial success, many worried about some of the issues plaguing the game. This included the lack of new content.
With Season 1 launching with the multiplayer in November, fans were hoping to see a new season by March. They were sadly disappointed. Fortunately, 343 Industries stated that they understood the frustration and were going to get a new season out soon.
With Halo Infinite Season 2 Lone Wolves announced, fans will hopefully be getting much more content along with more frequent updates. This season will come nearly six months after the initial one. For the game to gain more momentum and re-establish itself as a top-tier game, 343 will need to bring out more consistent content.
Most games bring out new seasons every two or three months. If Halo Infinite wants to accomplish its goal of staying relevant and being a “living game”, as many other esports games are now, they will need to have more regular seasonal updates.
The Halo Infinite Season 2 Release Date will be coming May 3, 2022.
Make sure to keep it here at The Game Haus to see if 343 can find that consistency.
