It’s unclear if there’s a work around to this limitation. Considering the game has been revealed to be a GPS game, similar to the likes of Pokemon Go and Monster Hunter Now, this region limitation for the Kingdom Hearts Missing Link Closed Beta may very well be set in stone.
There may be some work arounds with a VPN, but this is assuming they don’t have built in systems to prevent spoofing. The trailer does state “Travel the world without stepping outside,” so it’s definitely not built on the same fundamentals as Pokemon Go or Monster Hunter Now — since these specifically require stepping outside.
The Closed Beta application is currently open, and closes on November 19.
According to the official website, “The closed beta testing for iOS begins on 29th November, 2023 at 7:00 AM (UTC) and ends on 8th December, 2023. The closed beta testing for Android is currently planned for January 2024.”
