On October 21, My hero Ultra Rumble performed yet another emergency maintenance. During this maintenance, it appears their goal was to fix a couple of bugs, of which included the game breaking bug affecting Ochaca Uraraka. For those unaware, Uraraka’s grapple was incredibly bugged. About half of the time, it just wouldn’t attach onto its target.
This heavily impacted her gameplay, since the unreliability of the grapple hook made traversing with the character rather difficult.

After the maintenance, a quick play test with Uraraka indicates that the bug has been completely resolved. Her alpha ability now properly allows her to jump to her target, drastically increasing her viability.
Ochaca Uraraka Implications
This hotfix has massive implications for the character. Really the only thing weighing her down, literally, was the bug. Now she can float as she likes, taking advantage of terrain to great success. With Mobility, strong melee potential, and even relatively decent area of effect, Uraraka will surely become one of the stronger characters in My Hero Ultra Rumble.
In addition, this gamebreaking bug has been a relatively recent phenomena. It has been admittedly a struggle to deal with, but the fact that the developers are actively listening to the community is great news. From correcting match making issues, updating the game for the revive bug, and even addressing Uraraka’s grapple, they’re doing a fantastic job implementing player feedback.
