Elden Ring may be the most popular game coming out in 2022. It was made by Hidetaka Miyazaki, influenced by Dark Souls and created with George R.R. Martin, famous for Game of Thrones. This has been a game that many in the gaming world have been waiting for and its arrival is nearing. One of the biggest questions about it though is whether Elden Ring crossplay or not. Here is the answer to whether Elden Ring crossplay will be available to players.
This game is going to be one of the most expansive games in recent memory with dungeons, swamps, castles and according to the official website, “sites of grandeur on a scale never seen before in a FromSofware title”. There is little doubt that those whole have wanted a Dark Souls open-world game will be getting what they were hoping for and more. The story, being influenced by George R.R. Martin, should also bring its fair share of twists and turns.
As for the multiplayer, Elden Ring will be multiplayer. This will follow Dark Souls in the sense that players can invade other players’ worlds but that players will also be able to cooperate and play together.
The will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox One S and Xbox Series X|S. The Playstation crew will have their own servers and the Xbox players will have their own as well. This does mean that Elden Ring will not be crossplay but will be cross-gen.
When looking at the 12 GB of ram recommended for the game, it is surely going to be a game that is as expansive as it is stunning visually.
