During Gamescom Opening Night Live, the TEKKEN 8 release date was officially announced. During the live stream, several characters were shown off along with gameplay which included customization options and combat mechanics. Not only that but the pre-order date was announced as well.
What Is The TEKKEN 8 Release Date?
The launch date for TEKKEN 8 has been announced for January 26, 2024. Players can expect to access the game and enter the fighting realm during this time. During the Opening Night Live stream, series director Katsuhiro Harada made an appearance on stage to confirm the game’s release date and to show a new story mode trailer as well.
When Can You Pre-Order TEKKEN 8?
Players and fans of the TEKKEN franchise can look forward to being able to pre-order TEKKEN 8 starting August 22, 2023. The following editions available are the standard edition, deluxe edition, and the ultimate edition. Pre-Ordering the fighting game will give players the Paul Phoenix avatar outfit and the Mokujin and Tetsujin avatar skins exclusive to Playstation players.
What was Shown In The TEKKEN 8 Trailer?
Alongside the release date, a new single-player mode was announced called Arcade Quest. Players can design their own avatars which they can customize through their clothes and appearance, and take place in tournaments with other opponents. Several different fighters were also shown throughout the trailer showing off what/who players can expect to see in-game come the January 26, 2024 release date. As time goes on it’s only expected that gamers will be able to learn more about TEKKEN 8 in the near future.
