After another epic end to Fornite Chapter 2 Season 4 with the Galactus event, Season 5 is right around the corner. There was a very small teaser at the end of the event that could lead some people to theorize about what could be coming next. With the servers currently down, fans are wondering, when the new Fortnite season will begin?

As the Galactus event was ending, there was a small preview where Jonesy was laying on the floor of an office building in a tuxedo. This office looked almost like it was from an older noire film or some sort of 1920’s cop time. It will be interesting to see whether or not the new season will be set sometime in the past or in this type of setting. If the tweet below is any indication, going back in time might be a possibility.

As for when the new season will start, it seems that it will begin about seven and a half hours after the Galactus event ended. That means that it will likely start around 12:00 am EST according to the timer after the event. There are rumors that they will have more downtime after that, but nothing has currently been confirmed.
