The League of E.V.I.L. are on their way to Uldum, however they seem to have crashed into Blackrock Mountain. They are going to invade the place and have some fun while they wait for Dr. Boom to get Dalaran out of the mountain. Ragnaros won’t just sit by and let this happen, he plans on defending his home and destroy the worthless insects that have crept their way in. But what does this all mean for the players?
Tavern Brawl Dungeon Crawl
The dungeon crawl Blackrock Mountain is back with a twist. Players can only choose between one of four classes. These classes are Warrior, Shaman, Rogue, Priest and Warlock. These classes all belong to one of the members of the League of E.V.I.L. Using their decks and their hero powers to make your way through this challenging dungeon.
Just like in the more recent Dungeon Crawls, players will be able to upgrade their decks with treasures and new cards to make it better. This differs from the original Blackrock Mountain where players would make decks to fight every boss fight as they came. Additionally, there are new foes to face in this Dungeon Crawl while in the original there were only a few and they are stagnate in how they appear.
Fireside Gathering Raid Battle
Similar to the Lich King, there will be a Tavern Brawl where it’ll take the entire Fireside Gathering to take him down. Players can go to Fireside Gatherings to team up with others to fight against Ragnaros. Ragnaros has a huge pool of health, 15,000 health to be exact. With this huge health pool, it is impossible to defeat him on your own. That’s why players will be working together. Additionally, every time he and the bosses from Blackrock Mountain, this will bring players closer to more card reveals.
More Please
This is a fantastic idea to use before the release of a new set, as well a way to bring back some of the older stuff that was a ton of fun for the newer players. This is also feels like it is part of the story that is being told through the League of E.V.I.L. It feels like this actually happened while they were on their way to Uldum and that they would actually try to invade the place and steal anything that is worth anything. It would be nice to see other place as they move to the next area, that is, if they are able to keep the town of Dalaran after the League of Explorers are done with them.
