Counter Logic Gaming is unveiling an all-new streaming studio sponsored by Newegg within the CLG Performance Center in Los Angeles. The Newegg Open Streaming Studio provides a state-of-the-art streaming location for members of the CLG organization. Esports and entertainment influencers from outside the organization can also use the facility. Alongside these regular professional streams, CLG and Newegg are working on programming special streaming events, like podcasts, tournaments and more.
For launch week, starting June 19, they have scheduled sessions with CLG Founder George “HotshotGG” Georgallidis, CLG Fortnite players Marksman and Psalm, CLG Smash Bros. player VoiD, as well as independent professional streamers such as Jimmy Wong, Noway4u and Xell. The Newegg Open Streaming Studio should be a resource friends and professional streamers that want the best possible setup. The published schedule is below.
This new studio adds onto CLG’s Performance Center, which was announced in May 2018. The training facility includes a League of Legends room for CLG’s LCS and Academy teams, general practice rooms for other esports, a video production area and a kitchen for feeding the players and staff. One of COO Nick Allen’s stated goals in the introduction video was making “interesting partnerships with content creators and influencers…” This Newegg studio certainly seems to be a step in that direction.
