In an eventful turn of fate just two days before the second season of the Overwatch League, the Boston Uprising have made some quick moves to their roster.
Thank you for your hard work in our inaugural season @GamsuOW!
We wish you all the best in your OWL career with the @ShanghaiDragons.

Today, in a twitter statement, the Uprising have announced that team captain and long time main tank player Young-jin “Gamsu” Noh has been moved to the Shanghai Dragons. Though Gamsu has put in a lot of work and time with the Uprising, the loss of Eui-Seok “Fearless” Lee as their main tank was devastating. Therefore, this move makes sense for Shanghai, and for the Uprising. With so many tank players, most of them would be benched otherwise.

With Gamsu’s departure, however, comes the news of new signing Cameron “Fusions” Bosworth being promoted. Bumped up to full time main tank, we’ll be seeing Fusions on the main stage come Thursday evening. Alongside offtank Lucas “NotE” Meissner, Fusions is sure to shine in this tank heavy meta.
These changes are sure to affect the way that the Uprising will be playing, and luckily, there’s only two days to go before these strategies play out.
