Jack “CouRage” Dunlop had another traditional big birthday stream this week, and it was for an even bigger cause.
Courage has been in the esports scene since 2014, with an internship at Major League Gaming. After a few years as a host/commentator around the Call of Duty scene, Dunlop pursued streaming. Jack was signed as an Optic Gaming content creator in March of 2018, and most recently signed with 100 Thieves at the end of May 2019. He would soon then after join YouTube as an exclusive streamer.
CouRage has been one of the more recognizable faces throughout the years of esports, and it’s always good to see someone with such a platform advocate.
This is an incredible gift, Jack; thank you so much for making it happen. And such an honor for your grandmother, who will be in our thoughts.
Thanks also to EVERYONE who chipped in to this fantastic effort! https://t.co/9lSaXf9gav

Dunlop managed to raise $503,254 dollars for the CDC Foundation to help fight the Coronavirus. CouRage dedicated his birthday stream, or at least honored, his late grandmother. She had recently passed away due to the virus, and this no doubt impacted Dunlop on a personal level.
In tough times like these, seeing those who are looked up to act nobly is all one can ask for. Thank you, Jack.
