NRG CS:GO Roster Moves
After a disappointing finish at the IEM Katowice Major 2019 NRG is looking to make roster changes. NRG failed to show the potential the team had shown during the Challenger stage. In the Legends stage of the Major NRG looked dreadful. The team would be one of the first to be eliminated finishing with a 0-3 losing record.
FugLy on the Move?
However, with disappointments like this roster moves are bound to happen. Rumors of NRG wanting to move on from Jacob “FugLy” Medina surfaced a few days ago. The rumor gained more traction when Reddit users noticed that FugLy was no longer part of NRG’s CS:GO steam group. With it looking more and more that NRG is looking to make a change there is one player that would suite them perfectly.
Tarik to NRG?
Tarik “tarik” Celik is currently sitting on the bench for MiBR. This man is too good to be wasting away on another team’s bench.
The former Cloud9 in game leader and ELEAUGE Atlanta Major 2018 champion deserves to be on a top North American team. NRG would improve with the addition of Tarik. Tarik has proven to be one of the best CS:GO players North America has to offer. Adding Tarik to NRG’s roster would give the team the experience they need to get over this hump and become a top 10 team in the world. Tarik added more fuel to the fire about this roster move by tweeting this tweet.
In conclusion, it is looking more and more likely that NRG are ready to move on from FugLy. Tarik would be the perfect addition and he is one of the top free agents in professional CS:GO. If this move does indeed happen, where do you see NRG ranking on the world stage? Could Tarik transform NRG into a Major contender? We will see if these rumors come to fruition in the upcoming weeks.
