NFL Draft Prospects in the 2018 AutoNation Cure Bowl

Publish Date: December 7, 2018

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. The bowl season schedule allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2018 AutoNation Cure Bowl.

Tulane Green Wave Prospects

Donnie Lewis, CB

Lewis has had plenty of experience throughout the years at Tulane. Over his career, he has 158 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, seven interceptions, 36 passes defended and one touchdown. This season, he had his best season yet with 53 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, 14 passes defended and a touchdown. He took over as the best cornerback on the roster after the Green Wave lost Parry Nickerson to the 2018 NFL Draft.

He has decent size at 6-foot-0 and 195 pounds. If Lewis tests well in the offseason, he could be picked in the later rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Projected draft range: Seventh round-undrafted free agent

Terren Encalade, WR

Tulane hasn’t had the best quarterbacks over the years, but Enclade has still been able to produce. He has 138 receptions for 2,142 yards and 14 touchdowns in his career. For this season, Encalade has hauled in 39 receptions for 634 yards and four touchdowns. Encalade has specialized in being a big-play receiver, with 15.5 yards per reception over his four seasons.

He is 6-foot and 190 pounds, which is an ok size for the NFL. Encalade could be selected near the end of the draft.

Projected draft range: Seventh round-undrafted free agent

Zachery Harris, LB

Harris is another player who has played a lot of football over the years. At Tulane, he has 218 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and an interception. This year he has logged 86 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and an interception.

He is a little undersized for the linebacker position at 6-foot and 220-pounds. Harris likely won’t be drafted, but could get a shot to make a roster.

Projected draft range: Undrafted free agent

Noah Fisher, OT

Fisher is a transfer from South Alabama and has experience at both right and left tackle. He has been starting regularly since the 2016 season at South Alabama, which makes him one of the most experienced tackles in the class.

At 6-foot-5 and 325-pounds, Fisher isn’t going to be the biggest offensive tackle, but he also won’t look out of place.

Projected draft range: Undrafted free agent

Ragas now has two solid college seasons under his belt. In 2017 he rushed for 813 yards and had nine touchdowns. This season he took it to another level by rushing for 1,141 yards and eight touchdowns. He can also make plays as a pass-catcher with 24 receptions for 214 yards and two touchdowns this season.

He is well-built for a running back at 5-foot-11 and 220-pounds. Ragas is only a redshirt sophomore and will likely return to Louisiana for at least another season.

Projected draft range: Undrafted free agent
