The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2024 Gasparilla Bowl.
Tulane Green Wave Draft Prospects
Patrick Jenkins, DL
Jenkins played a few seasons at TCU to start his college career before transferring to Tulane before the 2022 season. He immediately started making an impact for the Green Wave and hasn’t looked back. This season, Jenkins has 30 total tackles, seven tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
At 6-foot-2 and 293 pounds, Jenkins is undersized for an NFL interior defensive lineman. He needs to add weight to his frame to hold up at the next level. His production has been solid from the interior. He could be selected in the later rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Projected Draft Range: Fourth Roun Pick-Sixth Round Pick
Mario Williams, WR
Williams started his college career at Oklahoma, then followed Lincoln Riley to USC for two seasons. Before this season, Williams transferred to Tulane. While he was productive at his other schools, Williams took it a step further in 2024 at Tulane. He caught 54 passes for 940 yards and five touchdowns.
He is undersized for an NFL wide receiver at 5-foot-9 and 178 pounds. Williams does have good speed and a history of production at three different schools. With eligibility remaining, Williams could elect to return to school to work on his draft stock.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Other Draft Prospects: S Caleb Ransaw (6th-UFA), LB Taylor Grubbs (UFA)
Florida Gators Draft Prospects
Jason Marshall Jr., CB
Marshall signed with Florida for the 2021 season and started playing immediately. He was initially successful, but had some bumps along the road during his college years. In 2024, Marshall tallied 20 total tackles and four passes defended.
At 6-foot- and 201 pounds, Marshall has solid size for an NFL corner. His play tapering off after an impressive start hurts his stock. He still has plenty of tools to make NFL teams look in his direction during the middle and late rounds of the draft.
Projected Draft Range: Fourth Round Pick-Sixth Round Pick
Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, OT
Crenshaw-Dickson played for four seasons at San Diego State to start his college career. He transferred to Florida before the 2024 season. Crenshaw-Dickson locked down the right tackle spot for the Gators during the 2024 season.
At 6-foot-7 and 322 pounds, Crenshaw-Dickson has good size for an NFL offensive lineman. He has shown off his prowess as a pass blocker this season, even after jumping from a group of five school to a power four school. Crenshaw-Dickson could be selected late in the draft.
Projected Draft Range: Fourth Round Pick-Sixth Round Pick
Other Draft Prospects: EDGE Tyreak Sapp (5th-7th), P Jeremy Crawshaw (6th-UFA), DL Joey Slackman (6th-UFA), IOL Jake Slaughter (6th-UFA), WR Elijah Badger (6th-UFA), RB Montrell Johnson (6th-UFA), WR Chimere Dike (6th-UFA), QB Graham Mertz (UFA), DL Cam Jackson (UFA), OT Austin Badger (UFA), CB Devin Moore (UFA), LB Shemar James (UFA)
