The college football season is here. Every week, different news and notes will pop up, which will affect what happens on the field and off it. Here are the college football week 13 news and notes.
Florida Fires Dan Mullen
Florida has fired Dan Mullen after going 5-6 to start this season. In four years at the school, Mullen has a 34-15 record. He led the school to three straight New Year’s Six Bowls, but the fall off this year resulted in his firing.

Troy Fires Chip Lindsey
Troy has decided to make a coach change, as they fired Chip Lindsey. He went 15-19 in his three seasons at the school. He never made a bowl game with the school, but the Trojans are 5-6 this season.

LSU Cornerback Eli Ricks Enters Transfer Portal
After being named a Freshman All-American, Eli Ricks was injured in October and hasn’t suited up for the Tigers. He has now entered the transfer portal where he will draw a lot of interest.
