Wednesday’s matchup between the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky has been postponed due to a COVID outbreak. Multiple positive tests in Louisville’s program have caused the move from Wednesday. As of Monday, there is no set date for a rescheduling of the game.
CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander reported the news via Twitter on Monday.

“The Battle of the Bluegrass” is widely considered one of the best rivalries in college sports. Kentucky leads the all-time series by a margin of 37-17. Louisville has won more recently, though, taking 2020’s contest 62-59.
Louisville has underperformed so far this year, amassing a record of just 7-4 and losing Saturday’s matchup against Western Kentucky. Kentucky has an 8-2 record and currently sit in fifth place in the SEC after beating unranked North Carolina 98-69.
