The Big 12 has announced the suspensions for players involved in the brawl between Kansas and Kansas State on Tuesday night. Kansas’ De Sousa was suspended for 12 games, while David McCormack received a two-game suspension. Kansas State’s James Love was given an eight-game suspension, with his teammate Antonio Gordon getting suspended for three games.

The Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby also released a statement regarding the fight.

De Sousa was the only player suspended by the teams themselves, as Bill Self suspended him indefinitely.
Kansas is the third-ranked team in the country right now with a 15-3 record. Kansas State is 8-10 on the season. The Jayhawks defeated the Wildcats 81-60, with the brawl breaking out in the game’s final seconds.
