The Patriots and Eagles will swap fifth and seventh round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The 33-year-old Bennett played last season with the Eagles after five seasons with the Seahawks and four seasons with the Buccanneers. He tallied nine sacks and 15 tackles for loss for Philadelphia.
Bennett has made three Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks.
New England will hope that Bennett can help their pass rush, which ranked tied for 30th in the NFL with 30 sacks in 2018.
