Wojnarowski originally reported that the Rockets will send the Pacers cash and a second round pick in exchange for Stauskas and Baldwin. However, the Rockets are only sending a second round pick. They will not send the Pacers cash. The Pacers will waive Stauskas and Baldwin.
Stauskas and Baldwin were recently traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers with two second-round picks in exchange for Rodney Hood. They did not play for the Cavs in their short stint.
The Cavs traded them to the Rockets in a three-team deal. The Cavs received Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss and sent Stauskas and Baldwin to Houston.
With the Trailblazers, Stauskas averaged 6.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 44 games. Baldwin averaged 1.9 points and 0.9 rebounds in 16 games. Both players have had an interesting week due to being traded multiple times. Once the Pacers waive them, they can find new starts elsewhere.
