The Young Prodigy
In the world of sports there are always prodigies. Esports also has its share of prodigies. The professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene has seen quite a few young prodigies. For example, Jake ‘Stewie2K’ Yip and Oleksandr “s1mple“ Kostyliev were both young prodigies who went pro and made it evident that they were star caliber players.
Who is ZywOo?
Just who is ZywOo? Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut is a French 18 year old professional CS:GO player for team Vitality. ZywOo has been making some waves in the professional CS:GO scene. There’s a ton of hype surrounding ZywOo, and rightfully so. The numbers that ZywOo has been putting up in recent months are outstanding. He is the main AWP for Vitality and his statistics show just how dominant he is.
In the past three months, ZywOo has played 83 maps. During these three months he has managed to have an average 1.41 HLTV rating. This rating is higher than any other pro player during that time span. This is not the only stat that stands out. ZywOo mainly uses the AWP, and players who use that weapon tend to have a low headshot percentage. However, ZywOo still manages to have a headshot percentage of 41.7.
ZywOo’s next big step to stardom is at the IEM Katowice Major later this month. It will be at this event that ZywOo can prove that he is worthy of the hype that follows him. He will be given the chance to show the world that his abilities alone can make Team Vitality a contender. I predict that with ZywOo’s fragging power that Team Vitality will make playoffs at IEM Katowice.
In conclusion, the ZywOo hype is real and his name will be known. Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut is the real deal and he will be a star player in professional CS:GO. In just three months, the 18 year old has managed to put up incredible numbers. It is only a matter of time until he takes on his full form and becomes one of the best players in the world. I look forward to watching him improve and chase after the title of best player in the world.
