Wilks was only at the helm for the Cardinals for one season and posted a 3-13 record. Because of their results they will have the first overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
While he didn’t have a playing career in the NFL, Wilks was a defensive back at Appalachian State and in the Arena Football League. Wilks has been an assistant for the Bears, Chargers and Panthers on the defensive side of the ball in his coaching career.
